Our goal is to ''Make the path straight for the return of the Lord by, Impacting, Improving and Inspiring€ the faith of the people. We pray that you are blessed and empowered in God by our ministry.

The COJTB Family

We are a ministry that loves all and welcomes all. We understand that if you could be perfect we would not need Christ! Well, we need Christ and so do you. We confess that we are not the Christ, nor Isaiah nor the Prophet. We are the voice of one crying in the wilderness (desert) make straight the path, because Christ is Coming Back. (Paraphrased of John 1:23)

Our Pastor
Elder, S. Smith

Our pastor, Elder S. Smith at the Church of John the Baptist (COJTB) is energetic and very loving. Does not focus on your flaws but will address issue when necessary. Elder S. Smith delivers the Word of God in away that cause one to willingly examine themself and seek ways they can improve.

Elder S. Smith has a wealth of wisdom with a youthful approach. Loving people is not just something he preach it is something he embodies. Elder S. Smith, believes that Charity is biblical defined: the ability to give without expecting a return.

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

As you are aware, there are many people who help the poor, We do it without expecting a return. That is Agape the unconditional love.
